ANNIKA THAKUR

I am a senior Detroit Country Day High School. I've been pursuing music since 4 years old. I've done so through singing and playing piano, trumpet, and percussion. I have been training with voice coaches since I was nine years old. I spent four years singing in the Detroit’s Children Choir and the honors choir Singers in the D, where I received classical training. I currently sing in my school’s choir, as an ensemble member, section leader, and featured soloist. I am also in my school’s honor’s SATB choir, Bella Voce. I understand how powerful music can be as a language, so I want to incorporate everyone's music into a message of compassion and support for our community and beyond!
